The LOD goes Webby!
So, I’ve only gone and done it!… again, I bought another website! This time it is going to be a few small blog pages with a couple of links to the podcast and videos and is mainly a brain dumping ground for Me, Thom, and Lewis for our own little extras away from the podcast.
End of the Hub
BG4GHUB was fun but it became too big for its boots too quickly and honestly, I felt like I was running against a stream of gaming Clique I had never thought there would be.
The BG4G page looked good had great reviews and the crew were a formidable bunch with a fair few that did a lot of work, but I always felt I personally was left on the outside of the circle when it came to those with a voice on twitter (for example). Soon I decided to drop back from it (twitter that is), it wasn’t helping the site or those associated with it. burn out set in quickly for the lads at the top and we all eventually walked away leaving it to some of the guys left to run it. Nothing came of handing it over and it pains me to this day to see it go but things must move on.
Beginning of the Lod
Now Thom, Lewis and I have the L.O.D, which came from the ashes as a podcast and although line up has changed slightly over the last couple of year or so, it is now a great dynamic. Don’t get me wrong I am not saying Mark and the other hosts were the wrong ones, but life gets in the way of it all and people come and go.
So there. my first blog and brain dump, the condensed story of what has happened in the last couple for years (minus the regular long working hours, covid, and being tired of games for a while). who knows this may end up in the about us section.
thanks for reading and come back soon from I am sure plenty of content from none other than the LOD perspective lads.
